Courts Celebrates Mother’s Day
As every year, Courts celebrates Mother’s Day month very lavishly. This year, the theme for Mother’s day campaign was ‘"Pour cette fête des mères, Welcome her Home!". All the branches were highly decorated with festive colours so as to create a welcoming and joyful atmosphere.



The peak of the Mother’s Day campaign came on the last week-end of May when a live cooking and tasting demonstration was organized within 3 Courts branches – in Port Louis on Friday 23rd May and in Phoenix and Riche-Terre on 24th May. Using products from Courts, famous Chef Mougam Pareatumbee and his team prepared delicious dishes and explained how to make up simple recipes in front of attentive and admiring customers. The whole cooking demo was aired on all TVs displayed in the Courts store. On top of that, every mother entering Courts stores were offered a rose flower. We could see the wonderful smile it brought on their faces. One lady even hugged our employee and thanked her for such kindness.



The cooking demo and animation was aired live on Radio Plus from within the Courts stores for the two days. The radio animators Guillaume, Hans and Caroline and his team of fellow merry men, Mamie Kloune and the “Satini Rye group” ensured that the customers were given enjoyable moments while shopping. Several games were organized and free gifts were distributed among customers who will not be able to forget this unique shopping experience at Courts. The whole event was a major success and sales at Courts reached new heights during the week-end.
