This year Courts celebrated its 23rd birthday. The theme for the birthday campaign was ‘‘Courts fête ses 23 ans avec vous’’. The objective was to celebrate our birthday with our valued customers and also reward those who had been the most loyal with Courts. Thus symbolically seven most loyal customers were invited as guests of honours to the birthday parties organised across branches, namely: Courts Bell Village, Flacq, Mahebourg, Goodlands, Curepipe, Quatre Bornes & Triolet.

The birthday parties consisted of cake cutting ceremonies, distribution of birthday cake and live animations. Radio Plus created cheerful atmospheres in Courts showrooms which helped to make these moments unforgettable.

The first birthday celebration was held symbolically at Courts Bell Village on Saturday 26 July 2008 because it was the first Courts branch which was opened in Mauritius. The party consisted of 5 hours of live animation ensured by Radio Plus which attracted a big crowd.

On the other side of the branch, Chef Mougam Pareatumbee and his team were conducting cooking demonstrations using products from Courts. The chef presented a variety of recipes to those present and they were also given the opportunity to taste the dishes. Moreover, these products were on promotion during the month.

But the most important moment of the party was the arrival of our guest of honour, Mr Moduth Locknauth and his family at Courts Bell Village. Mr Locknauth and his family came in the Mitsubishi Lancer Ex car specially provided by Iframac. A red carpet was also specially laid off for them. There was the cake cutting ceremony and our special guest received a present from Courts thanking him for his loyalty to Courts.

There were also further celebrations during all weekends across branches around the island; these were held for the whole month of August 2008.
